SYNCenter will increase your access to company documents plus boost communications and marketing with clients.

You will have access to documents, photos and videos as well as the capability to download and share them as well.
You will also have access SynOffice and access to your online payment provider.
 

Sign Up

  • Click “Register” on the home page
  • Enter your user name and email address
  • Your password will be emailed to you after approved by the site administrator
  • After you receive your password you can begin using SYNCenter’s resources as seen below

Box Accounts

SynCenter use an online platform called Box.com for cloud storage and file sharing services that enables you to securely share and access files through SYNCenter. Users must create a Box account account in order to gain access to SYNCenter’s advanced features including direct file sharing and document editing capabilities. 
Creating a Box.com accounts is very simple.

  • Log in to your Box account | CLICK HERE
  • OR sign up | CLICK HERE
  • Select the blue “Sign Up” button on the top right corner of the screen
  • Choose a Personal Account (free) by clicking the blue “Sign Up Now” button (just below the Personal Account title) or choose other types of paid accounts offering additional features
  • Enter your personal information in the spaces provided and follow the prompts
  • Now you may begin using SYNCenter’s documents!

 

Add a SYNCenter Icon & Link to Your Mobile Device

  • Navigate to the webpage you want added to your mobile device, ex.syncenter.info
  • For most Apple products, click on the small icon shaped as a box with an arrow; in some cases, choose the “+”
  • Choose add to homepage/home screen, enter a title you want, ex. SYNCenter, and click “OK”
  • Go to your phone’s main/home screen to view or test the link you created
  • For other brands such as Samsung/Sony,etc, go to the webpage you want saved and click on the options button, normally in the top right corner of your device’s screen
  • On some Android devices, choose “add to homepage/home screen”
  • On other Android devices, choose “add bookmark”
  • Visit your saved bookmarks by choosing “Bookmarks” from the options menu
  • Press and hold your finger on the bookmark you just created and choose “add to homepage/home screen”
  • Go to your phone’s main/home screen to view or test the link you created

 

DOCUMENTS

Choose a Document to Use

  • Log in to your box account, see “Connect Your SYNCenter & Box Accounts” above
  • For example, on the home page, select “Commercial Sales”, then “Architects”, then “Architect Letter”
  • The screen should now be grey with the icon of a cloud and a cloud indentation
  • Drag and drop the cloud icon to the indented space
  • The file “Architect Letter” should now appear on your screen

Download a Document

  • Choose a document(see steps listed above)
  • Select the “…” symbol towards the top right corner of the document
  • Click the downward shaped arrow to download the file to your computer’s download folder
  • Access this file by clicking the “downloads” button in the options menu on your browser ex. Chrome

Send a Document Using Email

  • Choose a document(see steps listed above)
  • Select the “V” shaped symbol and a pop up window should appear
  • Choose the “send” button – the window will change, adding the file you selected
  • Enter the recipients email as well as your message
  • Click the “send” button (different button) at the bottom of the window

Comment on a Document

  • Choose a document(see steps listed above)
  • Select the circular symbol towards the top right corner of the document
  • Choose “Enter a Comment” in the white bar that appears
  • Type your comment in the space provided
  • Click “Add Comment” in the grey bar for everyone to read

Print a Document

  • Choose a document(see steps listed above)
  • Select the “…” symbol towards the top right corner of the document
  • Select the printer icon
  • Choose “Print” on your browsers menu and a options menu should appear
  • Select the printer you are using and any options you need as your normally would – press “print”

Edit a Document

  • Choose a document(see steps listed above)
  • Select the pencil-shaped symbol – a screen should pop up asking you to download and install the editing software
  • If you have any installation issues, please try it during after hours (7-10 pm)
  • Click “Continue” and follow the instructions
  • Word or Adobe Reader/Adobe Acrobat should then automatically open the file for editing | *note that Adobe Reader is not an editing file, however, you could click
  • You may now change text or images, save them to your computer as you normally would

 

VIDEOS

Choose a Video to Use

  • Click on the “Photo/Video Gallery” button on the homepage to access the gallery
  • Select “Video Gallery”
  • Click on any video listed on the slider at the bottom of the screen

Send a Video Using Email

  • Choose a video(see steps listed above)
  • Move your cursor over the video window in order for the white buttons/icons to appear
  • Click the triangle-shaped ‘share’ button towards the top right-hand corner of the video screen – a screen should pop up
  • Click on the postcard-shaped button – a window should pop up using your email software (ex. Outlook), including a link to the video
  • Enter the recipients email, subject and your message, then click “send” as you normally would

Share a Video

  • Choose a video(see steps listed above)
  • Move your cursor over the video window in order for the white buttons/icons to appear
  • Click on either the blue Facebook or Twitter button – a window should pop up
  • Login to your account and the video will be posted for you
  • If you do not have an account, click on the links right here to sign up – FACEBOOK | TWITTER

Share a Video Hyperlink

  • Choose a video(see steps listed above)
  • Move your cursor over the video window in order for the white buttons/icons to appear
  • Click the triangle-shaped ‘share’ button towards the top right-hand corner of the video screen – a screen should pop up
  • Point your cursor on the web address (ex. http://vimeo.com/95914043) just below the Facebook and Twitter buttons, then click your right mouse button
  • Choose “Copy Link Address” in the option menu
  • Paste the hyperlink in an email, file, or elsewhere by right-clicking your mouse and choosing “paste”

Save a Video

  • Choose a video(see steps listed above)
  • Click your right mouse button while pointing your cursor anywhere on the video window
  • Choose “Save As” on the menu that appears and select where you would like it to be saved

‘Like’ a Video & Watch it Later

  • Choose a video(see steps listed above)
  • Move your cursor over the video window in order for the white buttons/icons to appear
  • Select the heart-shaped icon to “like” the video using Vimeo – enter your login details in the pop-up window that appears
  • Select the clock-shaped icon to “watch later” using Vimeo – enter your login details in the pop-up window that appears

 

PHOTOS

Choose a Photo to Use

  • Click on the “Photo/Video Gallery” button on the homepage to access the gallery
  • Select either “Residential Gallery” or “Commercial Gallery”
  • Click on any image listed

Save a Photo

  • Choose a photo(see steps listed above)
  • Click your right mouse button while pointing your cursor anywhere over the image
  • Choose “Save As” on the menu that appears and select where you would like it to be saved

Email a Photo

  • Choose a photo(see steps listed above)
  • Click your right mouse button while pointing your cursor anywhere over the image
  • Choose “Copy Image” to copy the whole image or “Copy URL” to only copy the link to the image
  • Open your email program (ex. Gmail, Thunderbird, etc.) and create a new message
  • Point your cursor somewhere inside the body of the email and press CTRL+V on your keyboard to paste the image/link
  • Enter the recipients email and your message to them as usual – click “send”
  • Or, if you use Firefox, you may email someone directly – click your right mouse button while pointing your cursor anywhere over the image
  • Choose “Email Image” – your email program should open a new email window with a link to the image inside
  • Enter the recipients email and your message to them as usual – click “send”

Copy a Photo

  • Choose a photo(see steps listed above)
  • Click your right mouse button while pointing your cursor anywhere over the image
  • Choose “Copy” on the menu that appears and select where you would like it to be saved
  • Paste the image into an email, file, or elsewhere by right-clicking your mouse and choosing “paste”

Print a Photo

  • Choose a photo(see steps listed above)
  • Click your right mouse button while pointing your cursor anywhere over the image
  • Choose “Print” on the menu that appears and a options menu should appear
  • Select the printer you are using and any options you need as your normally would – press “print”

 

ONLINE PAYMENTS

Setup Payment Gateway

  • Login to SYNCenter | CLICK HERE
  • Point your cursor on the grey box in the top right corner of the screen that reads “Howdy, your name
  • Select “Edit my Profile” – this will bring you to your profile page
  • Scroll down to the section that reads “Payment Gateway URL” to the left and type “http://www.gateway.com” in the space provided
  • Click the blue button that reads “Update Profile” at the bottom of your screen to make the changes

Take a Payment

  • Click on the link “Payment Gateway” at the bottom of your screen
  • Next, choose the location where the payment will come from
  • Follow the prompts and process your payment as you normally would
